The Russian Energy Ministry has announced the successful achievement of a key strategic goal: redirecting the country’s energy supplies, including gas, oil, and coal, from the West to the East and South. This milestone was confirmed by Russian Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilov in an exclusive interview with the TASS news agency.
Minister Tsivilov emphasized, “The strategic goal of shifting the route for gas, oil, oil products, and coal supplies to the East and South has already been achieved.” This marks a significant shift in Russia’s energy strategy amid growing geopolitical tensions.
Earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban commented that Budapest is actively exploring alternatives to bypass the European Union’s ban on Russian oil and gas imports. According to Orban, “This battle is still lost,” referring to the ongoing challenges faced by Hungary in securing energy supplies.
